Lamborghini launches Android tablet, phone

Lamborghini have decided to take on the likes of Samsung, HTC and LG by releasing an Android based smartphone with a high-end price tag.
The company’s first attempt at a smartphone is the TL700 which features a 3.7 inch 800 x 480 pixel screen, sapphire glass, Android 2.3 and a crocodile skin trim. The phone will be getting a software upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the future and retails for £1,776 (R23,215.98).
The car maker’s tablet offering is the L2800, which features a 9.7 inch high definition screen, 1.2GHz processor and 512MB of RAM. It too will get an Ice Cream Sandwich update, and retails for £1,480 (R19,346.65).
Lamborghini are no strangers to the technology market, having sold brand name laptops made by partner Asus for many years.
