Twitter gets new reworked app
The latest, revamped version of Twitter’s mobile app is now available for iOS and Android users.
Twitter 4.3 (known as version 3.3 for Android) focuses on expanding tweets to provide previews of linked content.
Kickstarter and Vimeo have now been integrated, allowing tweets featuring content from either site to be viewable through the feed.
Notifications also get a boost, introducing non-interruptive notifications and allowing users to choose to receive notifications from people they follow any time they tweet or retweet.
The improved search auto-complete feature rounds up the new additions, and iOS users will get improved suggestions when searching and a more advanced layout for tracking hashtags during live events.
Other smartphone users will have to wait for the new features; iOS and Android users can test out the improved Twitter app now.
