Transnet, Eskom to sell stake in arivia.kom

"The disposal of the Eskom and Transnet shareholding in arivia.kom will follow an open tender process. The details of the sales will be disclosed to interested bidders in due course," said a statement on Friday. Arivia.kom was formed out of the merger of the IT businesses of Eskom, Transnet and Denel, the arms manufacturer.

The contract of the company’s current CE, Zeth Malele, expires next Tuesday.

Eskom owns 58,5% of arivia.kom and Transnet owns the other 41,5%.
