CÔTE D’IVOIRE TELECOM GOES LARGE WITH ADSL OFFER

The new service has an upload speed of 128 kbps but a download speed of 2 Mbps. This level of bandwidth will encourage users to download things like music if there is no cap on the service and obviously permits users to make free VoIP calls using services like Skype. The service is targeted at professionals.

In a usual uncompetitive twist, Koné said that this new service was incompatible with the service provided by Fidelis de Côte d’Ivoire, no doubt seeking to put off potential consumers from any offer that company might make.
