Apple files patent application for wireless charging
Apple has filed an application to patent wireless charging using magnetic resonance.
While the technology has been around for a long time, Apple see fit to claim legal rights of the application.
The difference between Apple’s application and other wireless charging technologies is that Apple’s patent doesn’t require physical contact between a device and a charging mat.
The patent outlines technology that can charge a device up to 1m from a charging station.
