Sony launching 4K video distribution service
Sony is set to launch a 4K video distribution service in 2013.
The service is currently only known to be available to US customers when it launches.
The service will bring 4K content in the form of feature-length movies from Sony Pictures as well as other production companies.
Sony also announced a new 4K video player.
The Sony 4K Ultra HD video player will be bundled alongside the company’s ultra-HD XBR-84X900 4K TV.
