New local hosting service launched
Gridhost has joined the likes of Hetzner, Web Africa and Afrihost in launching a local hosting service.
“Gridhost is excited to unveil it’s new line of local hosting options,” says Myron Salant, Marketing Director for the group. “Considering the demand for local based hosting is escalating and with bandwidth pricing continuing to fall, we feel it imperative to deliver what our current customers and future Gridhosters have been asking for.”
Gridhost’s entry level local package, offering subscribers 200 Megabytes of Disk Space and 0.6 Gigabytes of traffic, costs R26.95 per month. The company’s high end package is priced at R249.95 per month and offers subscribers 4 Gigabytes of disk space and 8 Gigabytes of monthly data transfers.
The company’s entry level international hosting starts at R8.95 Per Month.
“By making use of various applications, we’ve made it as easy as possible for any new comers to the hosting arena to get online within minutes. This includes the use of online site builders and customizable templates. Our recent affiliation with PayFast also allows for users to sell their products online with minimal effort,” concludes Salant.
