Behind-the-scenes look at Telkom’s impressive NNOC

Telkom NNOC

Telkom opened its National Network Operations Centre (NNOC) in 1999 to coordinate all network operations countrywide from a central point.

Telkom’s NNOC is equipped with the latest technology to monitor the operator’s core network and coordinate and dispatch repair personnel where needed.

Since its launch, the facility has seen many upgrades, which includes the improvement of its video wall.

The 20m video wall provides a real-time visual summary of the entire network, and the NNOC takes a proactive approach towards anticipating and isolating problems.

The NNOC emergency restoration and control centre manages all network failure restorations and is a source of information for network service management specialists.
