Old Telkom exec changes sides, again
Msimango followed former Telkom chief sales and marketing officer Wally Beelders from the fixed line provider to Vodacom in April. Only half a year later and Msimango is back at Telkom.
Vodacom confirmed that Msimango left Vodacom last week for Telkom after the fixed line provider ‘had a need for his services’. Msimango’s resignation was effective from 5 October.
"Thami Msimango will rejoin Telkom as from 1 November 2007 after having resigned his position as the Company's Chief Technical Officer in March 2007. Further details about Msimango's future role at Telkom will be communicated in due course," Telkom confirmed.
