Services restored after SEACOM outage

SEACOM has restored its services following a service-affecting outage on its subsea cable system off the coast of Mombasa.

The outage on the SEACOM subsea cable system started at approximately 16:30 GMT on 8 May.

The company’s engineers investigated the reason for the outage, and a few hours later the fault was restored.

Early on 9 May the company announced that all affected services had been restored successfully.
