WhatsApp is down, according to multiple reports.

Down Detector showed a massive spike in user reports of downtime in South Africa from 08:00 this morning.

A report from Softpedia News stated that WhatsApp was also experiencing connectivity problems in Europe and the United States.

The report added that Down Detector’s international site showed WhatsApp downtime in Malaysia, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina.

Tests by MyBroadband resulted in us being unable to send WhatsApp text messages.
