Telkom has informed its subscribers that a system failure is causing service delivery problems.
“We are currently experiencing service issues due to a system failure and are working hard to have the issue resolved as soon as possible,” the company said on Friday morning.
As a result of this system failure, Telkom said its customers may experience trouble using services.
“Please be patient as the team works on resolving the issue. We will keep you updated with further information,” said Telkom.
The Telkom website has also experienced downtime since Thursday afternoon, with many users expressing frustration with not being able to access the site.
“Telkom’s website was down last night. Wanted to pay for my ADSL with a credit card, and I see it is still down at 06:17,” a user said this morning.
