Telkom has announced through auction partner GoIndustry that it will hold an auction for 53 properties.
The 53 properties include commercial and industrial buildings across the country. Bidding opens on 13 March and closes on 18 March 2020.
Properties comprise vacant land, double-storey and single-storey buildings, GoIndustry stated.
Speaking to eProp, GoIndustry property managing director Kim Faclier said that they have been working with Telkom since 2013 and are looking forward to another auction.
“This is an extensive portfolio, with the properties scattered all across South Africa, including a few double-storey buildings, buildings currently being used by the Post Office, even with single-storey buildings used as telecommunications in the past, as well as vacant land with development potential.”
“The majority of the properties are in Gauteng which totals to 15, they include agricultural, commercial, and industrial zoned properties and are further divided into eight properties in Western Cape, three in Mpumalanga, five in KZN, one in Free State, eight in Limpopo, three in Mpumalanga, six in North West, two in Northern Cape, five in Eastern Cape,” Faclier said.

The auction is online-only and viewing is strictly by appointment.
MyBroadband asked Telkom for comment on the property auction, but the company did not respond by the time of publication.
