Two possibilities for next big tech wave

Scenario planner and economist Clem Sunter said during a BDO seminar on Tuesday evening that there are two possible big waves for technology going forward, biotechnology and energy saving.

"We have written about biotechnology as the next big wave, for example, via genetically engineered products like smarter food. But the second will be energy saving and renewable energy as opposed to fossil fuels," he says.

"So there are two possibilities for technology," concludes Sunter.
