ICASA reschedules frequency plan workshop

ICASA has given notice of a workshop on the draft Terrestrial Broadcasting Frequency Plan 2008, to be held at the Protea Hotel Balalaika in Sandton, Johannesburg, on 11 & 12 March 2009.

The purpose of the frequency plan is to deal with the allotment of broadcasting frequencies, with specific emphasis on frequencies that will be assigned for digital migration purposes.

Councilor Robert Nkuna will chair proceedings which will include presentations by ICASA Chairperson Paris Mashile, Sentech, SABC, e-TV, MNet, Vodacom, MTN and Telkom.
