ICASA 2013 call termination questionnaire
The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa has released its 2013 call termination questionnaire, which forms part of its review of existing call termination regulations.
ICASA explained that the questionnaire is designed to enable it to gather and update market information to assist it in assessing the level of competitiveness in the relevant market, and determining the effect of the Call Termination Regulations.
The 2013 call termination questionnaire is aimed at Electronic Communications Network Services and Electronic Communications Services licensees.
The questionnaire consists of 6 sections, with the last section (section F) being the most relevant on getting feedback on call termination rates.
All relevant licensees are required to submit their responses to the questionnaires by 26 July 2013.
