Flights from OR Tambo continue to be delayed
Flights from OR Tambo are set to be delayed for the remainder of the day, following heavy fog this morning.
According to a report by TimesLive, at least 24 international and domestic flights destined for OR Tambo were diverted to other airports this morning due to the weather.
An airport spokesperson said they will be “challenged with managing flight backlogs throughout the course of the day”, due to the diversions.
Passengers were advised to be aware of the potential delays and contact their airlines to find out if departure or arrival times had changed.
The weather has cleared since this morning, but flights will be affected due to the earlier delays.
