FNB and Multisource have extended their uncapped LTE trial until the end of March.
“The trial has gone very well and feedback has been great,” said Multisource.
Details of the trial first emerged in December 2015, when FNB offered select clients free uncapped LTE until the end of February.
The trial ran on iBurst’s new LTE network, which Multisource recently acquired.
The trial included free uncapped data, a home router, and free delivery and installation.
Neither company was willing to divulge details about opening the service to the public, but Multisource said it will launch the service commercially.
“We have teams in place looking at various aspects, including commercials, product, and technical,” said Multisource.
Multisource said the commercial aspects of its service have not been finalised, but assured consumers it will be competitively priced.
