Good news for FNB uncapped LTE subscribers

FNB has extended its uncapped LTE pilot on the iBurst network to 28 February 2017.

It was scheduled to end on 30 November.

It was originally set to end on 29 February, but was extended to the end of March, then again to the end of June, and a third time to 30 September.

FNB said its host network is being upgraded, which may cause occasional downtime.

“We do apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. We will endeavour to ensure that downtime is kept to a minimum.”

Wireless Business Solutions, which owns iBurst, recently announced it is rolling out a new national LTE-Advanced network.

Its new network will be marketed under a different brand name, promising high-quality and aggressively-priced connectivity.
