VAST Networks and Ruckus Wireless will offer South Africans 1GB of free Wi-Fi on 20 June 2017 – World Wi-Fi Day.
Users will be able to access their free data at VAST’s 2,000 Wi-Fi locations across the country. A map of hotspot locations is on the VAST website.
Riaan Graham, the sales director for Ruckus in sub-Saharan Africa, said pervasive Wi-Fi will have massive implications for Africa.
“The continent will become one of the most important telecoms markets in the future, and its continued success will depend on investments in wireless systems,” said Graham.
