Free AlwaysOn WiFi with Samsung devices

Samsung has announced a partnership with AlwaysOn, offering free WiFi to new Samsung smart devices, and devices bought within the last three years.

Internet Solutions and Samsung announced the deal at the 2013 Samsung Africa Forum, explaining that it will give Samsung users 1GB free WiFi per month for 12 months.

The deal is available to all new WiFi-enabled Samsung smart devices, as well as devices that were bought in the last 3 years, Samsung said.

The service will be available at all high speed AlwaysOn WiFi access points across South Africa.

“We live in the connected age and it makes sense for Samsung to incorporate a service offering that combines innovative mobile devices with national wireless connectivity,” said Craige Fleischer, director of mobile communications at Samsung Electronics South Africa.
