Free WiFi in Cape Town area

Free WiFi spot

Visitors to Company’s Garden in Cape Town can look forward to free Wi-Fi access at the heritage site, hotspot provider Connected Space announced in a press release today (26 July 2013).

Coverage will be available in the Company’s Garden restaurant and outside the aviary, and will be denoted with signage Connected Space said.

Users will be directed to a URL where they will log in, and each user will get a 100MB cap per day. A support line (072–979–5056) will assist those struggling to connect.

According to Connected Space, the free wireless project is a collaboration between them, City of Cape Town, The Cape Town Partnership, Iziko Museums, Company’s Garden, and City Parks.

It is a test case for the roll-out of further public wireless hotspots in the central city, Connected Space said.
