The latest report looks at the latest growth trends up to the end of 2013.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the 12 months since Q4 2012, the IPTV subscriber market grew by 21%, with 17m net additions,\u201d the report stated.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, Africa is starting to grow its IPTV subscriber base. \u201cThere is limited headroom for fixed IPTV services in the region, however, there are a number of new deployments that are expected to take place in the coming quarters which should provide further growth opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_100648\" style=\"width: 548px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/IPTV.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-100648\" class=\"size-full wp-image-100648 \" title=\"IPTV regions\" src=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/IPTV.png\" alt=\"IPTV regions\" width=\"538\" height=\"274\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-100648\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">IPTV regions<\/p><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Top 10 IPTV countries<\/h3>\n<p>The top ten IPTV countries for Q4 2013 has a new entrant with Belgium being displaced by Vietnam &#8211; an indication of the saturation in some of the more mature markets and a promise of things to come in those markets where there is more headroom for growth.<\/p>\n<p>The UK and Netherlands swapped places as the UK reported a drop in IPTV subscribers.
