Official South African Apple distributors Core Group today announced pricing details for the majority of its newly released product line.<\/p>\n
iMac pricing<\/strong><\/p>\n In October the manufacturer announced updates to its iMac range, in the 21.5 and 27 inch LED display options. These devices will include Intel Core 2 Duo, i5 and i7 processors according to pricing level and the displays will feature a minimum resolution of 1920×1080, which is regarded as fit for HD viewing.<\/p>\n iMac 21.5” Core 2 Duo 3.06GHz (4GB RAM, 500GB Hard Drive)- R13,999<\/p>\n iMac 21.5” Core 2 Duo 3.06GHz (4GB RAM, 1TB Hard Drive) – R17,499<\/p>\n iMac 27” Core 2 Duo 3.06GHz (4GB RAM, 1TB Hard Drive) – R19,999<\/p>\n iMac 27” Core i5 2.66GHz (4GB RAM, 1TB Hard Drive) – R23,999<\/p>\n Each iMac device will ship standard with 4GB of 1066MHz DDR3 memory with a capacity for 16GB across four SO-DIMM slots as well as the recently released Snow Leopard OS X Apple operating system.<\/p>\n MacBook<\/strong><\/p>\n Apple’s MacBook range also saw an update in October. The device now features a unibody polycarbonate casing and includes an LED backlit display which allows for reduced power consumption.
