Apple released a large update to MacOS X Snow Leopard, bringing it to version 10.6.2. The update addresses a number of security issues and bugs, including the infamous glitch that caused user data to be deleted when using a guest account.<\/p>\n

There are two versions of the update: a 479MB ‘combo’ patch<\/a> that updates from version 10.6 and a 473MB patch<\/a> that updates from version 10.6.1.<\/p>\n

  9. Address Book becoming unresponsive when editing<\/li>\n
  10. A problem adding images to contacts in the Address Book<\/li>\n
  11. An issue that prevented files downloaded from the Internet from opening<\/li>\n
  12. Safari plug-in reliability<\/li>\n
  13. General reliability improvements for iWork, iLife, Aperture, Final Cut Studio, MobileMe, and iDisk<\/li>\n
  14. An issue that caused data to be deleted when using a guest account<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
