The update addresses a number of security issues and bugs, including the infamous glitch that caused user data to be deleted when using a guest account.<\/p>\n<p>There are two versions of the update: a <a href=\"http:\/\/support.apple.com\/kb\/DL959\" target=\"_blank\">479MB &lsquo;combo&rsquo; patch<\/a> that updates from version 10.6 and a <a href=\"http:\/\/support.apple.com\/kb\/DL958\" target=\"_blank\">473MB patch<\/a> that updates from version 10.6.1.<\/p>\n<p>The full description of the update can be found on the <a href=\"http:\/\/support.apple.com\/kb\/HT3937\" target=\"_blank\">Apple support page<\/a>.
