{"id":104111,"date":"2014-06-12T12:00:04","date_gmt":"2014-06-12T10:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=104111"},"modified":"2014-06-12T12:01:49","modified_gmt":"2014-06-12T10:01:49","slug":"cell-c-data-billing-increment-change","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/104111-cell-c-data-billing-increment-change.html","title":{"rendered":"Cell C data billing increment change"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"Cell C\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/213919-Cell-C\">Cell C<\/a> has standardised the billing increments of all of its data products to 25kb, which the company said will increase billing efficiencies.<\/p>\n<p>This confirmation <a title=\"Cell C data billing change\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/622085-Cell-C-Min-Data-charge-now-25kb-not-5kb!-(since-24th-April-)-is-this-legal\"><strong>followed a forum discussion<\/strong><\/a> where the user said that their data billing increment increased from 5kb to 25kb.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI used 1.6kb on 23 April 2014, and Cell C charged for 5kb of data against my bundle,\u201d the user explained. \u201cJust 5 hours later, on the 24th April, I used 1.7kb, and was charged for 25kb.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Earlier this year Cell C standardised the billing increments of all of its data products to create billing efficiencies. Previously the billing increments varied,\u201d explained Cell C.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll products are now standard.
