Imation has announced the availability of its Pro WX Wireless USB hard drive – the world’s first wireless USB external hard drive – providing 1.5TB of storage capacity and wireless freedom. <\/p>\n
The drive comes in the 3.5” form factor, with a wireless data transfer rate of up to 15MBs\/second. Inherent in its Wireless USB technology, the Pro WX wireless hard drive offers a one-to-one connection that limits the possibility of signal interception and works in a range of up to 9 metres.<\/p>\n

The Imation Pro WX Wireless USB hard drive comes with an integrated stand for vertical or horizontal orientation. Low capacity\/data activity indicator lights help to identify data processes. A built-in sleep conserves energy. A one-touch, backup sync button for easy automatic backup of data rounds off the unit. The product is compatible with both PC and Mac.<\/p>\n
