{"id":10643,"date":"2009-11-29T22:16:00","date_gmt":"2009-11-29T20:16:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2009-11-29T22:16:00","modified_gmt":"2009-11-29T20:16:00","slug":"vodacom-cuts-call-rates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/10643-vodacom-cuts-call-rates.html","title":{"rendered":"Vodacom cuts call rates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Vodacom yesterday announced that it is reducing Vodacom-to-Vodacom peak call rates by 15% during the month of December.&nbsp; This promotion however excludes Per Second Plus and inclusive voice bundle minutes.<\/p>\n<p>This offer comes two weeks after <a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/Telecoms\/10430.html\">Virgin Mobile announced<\/a> the launch of a new prepaid product called 99er. &ldquo;The 99&rsquo;er&rsquo;s rate of 99 cents per minute, all day, every day, to all networks after the first five minutes of calls per day at R1.99 per minute, pre-empts the drop in the peak interconnect rate expected in February 2010.
