The Pocket Drive is Verbatim’s new 1.8” portable HDD. The device packs 250GB of storage into a small package measuring 90x64x11mm. The black aluminium encased unit weighs 85g, and comes with a draw string carry pouch.<\/p>\n
As well as its storage capabilities, the Pocket Drive also offers pre-installed backup and synchronisation software. The Dmailer software with data encryption is used for backups and the Verbatim Sync software provides easy data synchronisation, between a home PC and the external hard drive for example.<\/p>\n
The Sync software works with files of all types and also provides synchronisation of mail boxes and web site details such as the browser favourites.<\/p>\n
The Pocket Drive is formatted in FAT32 for compatibility with both Windows and Mac OS based systems. A blue LED light on the front of the drive indicates when data is being transferred via the USB 2.0 connection. The device is covered by Verbatim’s 2 year limited warranty.<\/p>\n
