{"id":108096,"date":"2014-08-14T02:02:15","date_gmt":"2014-08-14T00:02:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=108096"},"modified":"2014-08-14T02:03:37","modified_gmt":"2014-08-14T00:03:37","slug":"sentech-strike-ends","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/broadcasting\/108096-sentech-strike-ends.html","title":{"rendered":"Sentech strike ends"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sentech announced in a press statement on Wednesday evening, 13 August 2014, that it has reached an agreement with employees affiliated to the Communication Workers Union (CWU), ending a two-and-a-half week strike.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis brings an end to the strike and as a result, the company will operate at full capacity effective 14 August 2014,\u201d Sentech said.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of the agreement, employees who are in the bargaining unit will receive the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8% increase on basic salary for employees at lower grades;<\/li>\n<li>7.5% increase on basic salary for employees at higher grades;
