M-Net and MultiChoice today, 11 September 2014, revealed that two new channels – M-Net Edge and VUZU AMP – will form part of the DStv offering from October.<\/p>\n
VUZU AMP \u2013 an amplified version of the current VUZU channel \u2013 will be available on DStv channel 114 from Tuesday, 13 October at 17:00.<\/p>\n
VUZU AMP will feature local and international content in HD, and will be available to DStv Premium customers.<\/p>\n
M-Net Edge will move onto channel 102, and will make its debut on Tuesday, 20 October at 19:00. It will be a companion channel to\u00a0M-Net.<\/p>\n
Due to the age restrictions linked to the programming on M-Net Edge, the channel will be on air for eleven hours a day only – from 18:00 in the evening until 5:00 the next morning.<\/p>\n
The M-Net Edge line-up will feature series from Hollywood, which will include risque shows \u201cyou would prefer not to watch with the entire family\u201d.<\/p>\n
The October M-Net Edge schedule will include Orange is the New Black, Masters of Sex and Satisfaction, and new seasons of The Americans, Defiance, and American Horror Story.<\/p>\n
To make way for these two new channels, M-Net Series Showcase and M-Net Series Reality channels on DStv Premium will be discontinued as of October.<\/p>\n
Instead, the content from these channels will be found on M-Net Edge (channel 102) or VUZU AMP (channel 114).<\/p>\n
