Axxess has announced that its Global Axxess service, which provided users with access to services which were restricted by geographical location locks, has been shut down until further notice.<\/p>\n
Axxess launched its free DNS Suite on 11 September 2014, which the company said had “numerous benefits, including increased speed, the World Wide Web without limitations, family friendly content, and custom\/corporate DNS capabilities\u201d.<\/p>\n
The Global Axxess service formed part of the DNS Suite, and provided users with access to content that was previously unavailable to them because they were located in South Africa.<\/p>\n
Some of the services which were available to clients through Global Axxess included Hulu and Netflix<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n However, less than a week after its launch Axxess said that it had suspended the use of Global Axxess \u201cdue to legal pressures\u201d.<\/p>\n Axxess marketing director Franco Barbalich said that he could not provide more information on the matter.
