Telkom recently announced that it was reducing the price of its 20Mbps and 40Mbps VDSL products, effective from 1 October 2014.<\/p>\n

Telkom’s VDSL price cuts include\u00a0access and bundled rates, and are applicable to new and existing customers.<\/p>\n

Other providers, including Afrihost, Axxess, and Vox Telecom, have also reduced their VDSL rates.<\/p>\n

This raises the question: how do Telkom’s new home (consumer) uncapped VDSL bundled rates stack up against other service providers’ prices? The following table answers that question.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that these prices exclude residential voice line rental, which costs R166.50 per month.<\/p>\n
