Other pay-TV hopefuls were forced to submit extensive documentation and were closely scrutinised by ICASA.

In response Super5Media director responded that the company “will defend this action as we see it as frivolous and opportunistic and launched with an alternative agenda. Further comments will become clear once the judge has ruled.”

According to ODM spokesperson Elouise Kelly Super5Media requested the postponement for unknown reasons and “as ODM we agreed to their request for a postponement.”

A Super5Media spokesperson has however revealed that the request was “based on convenience by agreement between both parties based on their legal representatives’ availability”.

The case will be now be heard on the 2nd of February in the South Gauteng High Court.

Pay TV battle postponed – Discussion

Related Links

Pay-TV War

[17

post-11273","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-technology
