The Kalahari support website (help.kalahari.com) has been taken advantage of by search engine optimisation (SEO) spammers who have found ways to inject their links into the site\u2019s pages.<\/p>\n

It is not clear what vulnerability the spammers exploited to hack Kalahari\u2019s Help site.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve found some links that have been injected into our help page code, which is being placed there by spammers seeking to improve their own SEO rankings,\u201d a spokesperson for the online retailer confirmed.<\/p>\n

Asked whether any customer data had been compromised, Kalahari assured us that these help pages are not actually related to the kalahari.com site.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur help pages are hosted on a separate WordPress domain,\u201d the spokesperson explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere has been absolutely no compromise to the kalahari.com site, our data, or our customer data,\u201d said Kalahari. \u201cKalahari.com is fully encrypted and secure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kalahari added that it is working hard to remove the links as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
