MultiChoice has revealed\u00a0its DStv Now mobile application for Android and iOS devices which is set to launch before the end of November 2014.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s pretty stable and works pretty well already, but we want to squash a last few bugs,\u201d DStv Digital Media CEO John Kotsaftis said at a launch event in Johannesburg on Wednesday, 12 November 2014.<\/p>\n

The app offers DStv Premium subscribers with PVR access the ability to watch DStv Catch Up content on their mobile devices, and lets them stream a number of channels live over the Internet.<\/p>\n

All the sports channels, M-Net, and the M-Net movies channels will be available to stream through DStv Now.<\/p>\n

Subscribers to any bouquet with PVR access and\u00a0an\u00a0Explora decoder that is connected to the Internet will also be able to set recordings remotely from the app.<\/p>\n

Asked about the minimum requirements of the app, Kotsaftis said they support down to the oldest iPad 2 and Android devices\u00a0running at least the 4.1 \u201cJelly Bean\u201d version\u00a0of the mobile operating system.<\/p>\n
