{"id":114357,"date":"2014-11-17T14:52:27","date_gmt":"2014-11-17T12:52:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=114357"},"modified":"2014-11-17T15:00:12","modified_gmt":"2014-11-17T13:00:12","slug":"telkoms-mobile-network-grows","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/114357-telkoms-mobile-network-grows.html","title":{"rendered":"Telkom&#8217;s mobile network grows"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Telkom has published its financial results for the six months ended 30 September 2014, which revealed a significant increase in the number of mobile sites in its network.<\/p>\n<p>Telkom announced that the number of mobile sites integrated into its network increased by 10.5% to 2,437 over the past 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>The company further revealed that it grew the number of LTE sites in its network to 1,275.<\/p>\n<p>To boost its mobile data capability, Telkom launched 150Mbps Long Term Evolution (LTE) Advanced services last week (14 November 2014).<\/p>\n<p>This network growth is supporting the company\u2019s increase in mobile subscribers.
