MTN South Africa announced in a press release on Tuesday, 18 November 2014 that it has reduced the prices on its Sky contract packages, with the SIM-only fee going from R1,499 to R1,299.<\/p>\n
Depending on the smartphone selected, MTN said that subscribers can get an all-inclusive deal for R1,599 per month. Previously this would have cost R1,799 per month, MTN said.<\/p>\n
These price cuts are a promotion which has been running since 14 November 2014 and will continue until 31 January 2015, MTN said.<\/p>\n
The MTN Sky contract package includes unlimited local voice calls, local SMS messages, and data (with a 5GB fair use policy).<\/p>\n
When a subscriber hits the 5GB per month fair use limit, MTN said the user is not capped, but their speeds are throttled.<\/p>\n
MTN Sky also includes priority call centre support, free smartphone repairs, and 24 visits to international and local Bidvest airport lounges.<\/p>\n
