Takealot has been experiencing intermittent problems today, frustrating users who are trying to purchase some of the retailer\u2019s \u201cTakealot Tuesday\u201d deals.<\/p>\n

The Takealot website problems started on Tuesday morning, shortly after the company launched its \u201cTakealot Tuesday\u201d deals.<\/p>\n

\u201cHeavy traffic might cause some page loading issues. Please bear with us and continue to refresh in 30 seconds. Deals this hot are worth the wait,\u201d Takealot said.<\/p>\n

Takealot apologised for the website problems, saying that it was \u201cworking hard to get it back up and running\u201d.<\/p>\n

Some users reported that it was only the desktop website which was experiencing problems, and that the Takealot mobile site<\/strong><\/a> and the Takealot app were not affected.<\/p>\n
