{"id":115899,"date":"2014-12-16T22:10:47","date_gmt":"2014-12-16T20:10:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=115899"},"modified":"2014-12-16T22:12:08","modified_gmt":"2014-12-16T20:12:08","slug":"apple-wins-ipod-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/gadgets\/115899-apple-wins-ipod-case.html","title":{"rendered":"Apple wins iPod case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After just a few hours of deliberation, a jury in California has found in favor of Apple in a billion-dollar class-action lawsuit over the price of its iPod music players.<\/p>\n<p>The eight-member jury in U.S. District Court rejected a claim by attorneys for consumers and iPod resellers, who argued that Apple&#8217;s use of restrictive software froze out competing makers of portable music players.
