Cell C announced that it is “in the process of rationalising its suite of products”, which includes price changes on its voice and data products.<\/p>\n

The operator announced that the changes will take effect on 1 January 2015 for prepaid products, and on 1 February 2015 for contracts, data, and other services.<\/p>\n

“The review is part of our commitment to improve transparency and simplicity, while maximising the value our customers receive on our products,” Cell C said.<\/p>\n

The company added that the pricing changes are applicable to all existing Cell C customers who\u00a0are active on any of these plans prior to 1 January 2015.<\/p>\n

New Cell C data prices<\/h3>\n

Cell C is moving away from its flat rate of 15c per MB for data bundles, with most data bundle prices increasing next year.<\/p>\n

Cell C also introduced a new 25MB data bundle for R6, which translates into 24c per MB.<\/p>\n

Out of bundle rates for all data bundles remain at 99c per MB. Cell C’s GigaNite prices remain unchanged.<\/p>\n

The following tables provide an overview of the new Cell C data prices which will kick in on 1 February 2015.<\/p>\n
