For a website owner hosting is often one of the most costly components of running his business.  For this reason a website manager must be aware of which internet service providers offer the best deals with regards to hosting, disk space or capacity, traffic allowances and over use charges.<\/p>\n

Hosting is a highly competitive industry, and with prices and terms constantly changing it is challenging to keep up to date on where the best home for a website is.<\/p>\n

With this in mind we have compiled a pricing comparison between several major players to see who offer the best deals for both shared and dedicated hosting. To achieve this several packages within a similar price range were detailed and compared.<\/p>\n

For shared hosting services Web Africa offers a lucrative deal within the R100 per month range. At the cost of traffic bandwidth Hetzner also offers a comprehensive basic package with 1GB of shared disk space.<\/p>\n

Telkom’s shared hosting service however is out of touch with current trends, offering only 40MB of traffic and 10MB of disk space for R139 per month.<\/p>\n
