{"id":117878,"date":"2015-01-30T13:05:03","date_gmt":"2015-01-30T11:05:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=117878"},"modified":"2015-01-30T13:08:57","modified_gmt":"2015-01-30T11:08:57","slug":"is-technology-making-your-world-better","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/technology\/117878-is-technology-making-your-world-better.html","title":{"rendered":"Is technology making your world better?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"Microsoft personal tech survey\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.microsoft.com\/blog\/2015\/01\/19\/views-around-globe-2nd-annual-report-personal-technology-changing-lives\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Microsoft\u2019s second annual survey<\/strong><\/a> of Internet users around the world shows that people\u00a0think personal technology is making the world a better place.<\/p>\n<p>The personal technology survey was conducted online between 17 December 2014 and 1 January 2015 by the global consultancy Penn Schoen Berland.<\/p>\n<p>The survey involved five developed countries &#8211; USA, France, Germany, Japan, and South Korea &#8211; and seven developing countries &#8211; Brazil, India, Russia, China, Turkey, South Africa, and Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the people surveyed said technology had vastly improved how they shopped, worked, learnt, and generally got stuff done.<\/p>\n<p>However, it is not all positive.
