This slowly started to change after SEACOM landed, but affordable uncapped ADSL services were typically associated with limited speed.

MWEB has now turn this situation on its head by launching affordable DSL 384, DSL 512 and DSL 4 Mbps uncapped ADSL services. Vox Telecom quickly followed suit by undercutting MWEB’s bundled uncapped services.

With the newly launched uncapped ADSL offerings, typically providing better value for money than previous services in the market, it begs the questions as to where consumers will find the best deal.

The following table provides an overview of some of the most prominent uncapped services in the ADSL market:

ADSL Uncapped Data Only

384 Kbps

512 Kbps

4 Mbps

MWEB

R219

R299

R539

Openweb

R219

R299

R539

Screamer

R399

R799

R2499

Digichilli

R300

R500

R3000

Sainet

R449

R999

R2599

Uncapped: ADSL access (ADSL line) and data

384 Kbps

512 Kbps

4 Mbps

Vox Telecom

R339

R589

R889

MWEB

R349

R599

R899

Sainet

R499

R1150

R2899

SAOL

R799

—

—

Best uncapped ADSL deals <<
