Is Vodacom closed! Please send SMS to at least inform us that there is a problem. Frantic,\u201d Twitter user Faizal Kahan posted.<\/p>\n<p>On the MyBroadband forums users started complaining about a lack of service on Wednesday evening, with some adding that they couldn&#8217;t make or receive calls in Umhlanga either.<\/p>\n<p>Queried about the problems, a spokesperson for Vodacom said there appears to be a transmission issue causing intermittent problems with data connectivity and calls for some customers in KwaZulu-Natal.<\/p>\n<p>No further details were available at the time of publication, but Vodacom promised to provide updates as soon as more information came to light.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update:<\/strong> Vodacom has said that the issue affecting subscribers in KZN appears\u00a0to have been addressed\u00a0and services are recovering.
