{"id":121030,"date":"2015-03-05T07:26:09","date_gmt":"2015-03-05T05:26:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=121030"},"modified":"2015-03-05T07:27:52","modified_gmt":"2015-03-05T05:27:52","slug":"rubiks-cube-record-smashed-using-one-hand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/technology\/121030-rubiks-cube-record-smashed-using-one-hand.html","title":{"rendered":"Rubik&#8217;s Cube record smashed, using one hand"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An Indian student has set a new Rubik&#8217;s Cube record by solving five of the puzzles in just over a minute using only one hand, organizers said Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Bhargav Narasimhan, 22, from the southern city of Chennai, achieved the feat in 1.23.93 minutes at an event in the city recently.<\/p>\n<p>He broke the existing Guinness World Record of 1.52 minutes set in the category by Yumu Tabuchi of Japan in 2010, said Gayathri Dinesh, who organized the event.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I have broken the previous record of solving five cubes one handed by almost 30 seconds.
