{"id":125380,"date":"2015-05-02T08:58:13","date_gmt":"2015-05-02T06:58:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=125380"},"modified":"2015-05-02T08:59:30","modified_gmt":"2015-05-02T06:59:30","slug":"tracker-skytrax-e-mail-notification-problem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/security\/125380-tracker-skytrax-e-mail-notification-problem.html","title":{"rendered":"Tracker Skytrax e-mail notification problem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tracker Skytrax device users have complained that they are not receiving e-mail notifications from the service as expected.<\/p>\n<p>Notifications include information such as ignition on\/off, harsh braking, or over road speed limit alerts.<\/p>\n<p>The notifications are an\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tracker.co.za\/our-products\/individual\/skytrax\/notifications-and-alerts\/\" target=\"_blank\">advertised feature<\/a><\/strong> of the Skytrax unit.<\/p>\n<p>The issue seems to only affect Gmail users, with a subscriber stating\u00a0that when they contacted Tracker about the problem they were told a number of clients were affected.<\/p>\n<p>The customer requested the service be cancelled\u00a0if e-mail notifications were not working, but Tracker said\u00a0if it can\u2019t restore the services within 30 days, it will notify customers in writing.
