Vodacom subscribers in Gauteng reported problems on the network on 24 June, saying that they were unable to use voice and data services.<\/p>\n

Subscribers in Midrand, Randburg, Fourways, and Sandton said they experienced issues until around 14:15, when services started coming back online.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0spokesperson for Vodacom said the outages seemed\u00a0to have been caused by equipment failure at a facility in Midrand.<\/p>\n

Intermittent loss of voice, data, and SMS services throughout certain areas in Gauteng followed.<\/p>\n

Vodacom said the network equipment failed at around 13:30, and engineers were able to find and isolate the problem in around 30 minutes.<\/p>\n

Services are starting to come back online, and should return to normal.<\/p>\n
