Apple has redesigned its website, merging its online store into its main site and ditching the \u201cstore.apple.com\u201d subdomain.<\/p>\n

Clicking a \u201cbuy\u201d link will still take\u00a0you to a page where you can select buying options relevant to the region you\u2019re browsing in.<\/p>\n

Your shopping cart (or \u201cbag\u201d) is now available across the Apple site from an icon. The bag menu also lets you navigate to your past orders and account settings.<\/p>\n

Shopping for accessories has also changed, with Apple showing a page of featured accessories for its products from where you can then navigate to specific categories.<\/p>\n

Speaking to TechCrunch<\/a><\/strong>, Apple said it redesigned Apple.com knowing that its customers want to explore, research, and shop in one place.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe new Apple.com takes the very best of our existing site and our online store to give customers one simple destination to learn and buy without navigating between two different sites. We\u2019ve also improved several of the site\u2019s features to make shopping easier than ever for our customers.\u201d<\/p>\n
