{"id":135092,"date":"2015-08-13T17:01:21","date_gmt":"2015-08-13T15:01:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=135092"},"modified":"2015-08-13T18:06:09","modified_gmt":"2015-08-13T16:06:09","slug":"showmax-free-video-streaming-from-naspers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/broadcasting\/135092-showmax-free-video-streaming-from-naspers.html","title":{"rendered":"ShowMax: free video streaming from Naspers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ShowMax, the Netflix-like subscription video streaming service from Naspers, is set to launch in South Africa on 19 August with two subscription levels: free, and premium [also see:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/broadcasting\/135122-showmax-premium-prices-for-south-africa-revealed.html\">ShowMax Premium prices for South Africa revealed<\/a><\/strong>].<\/p>\n<p>Based on information leaked online, the free tier will be dubbed ShowMax Basic and will give you limited access to the ShowMax library.<\/p>\n<p>The paid-for tier, ShowMax Premium, will include unlimited access to shows and movies, much like Hulu and Netflix.<\/p>\n<p>A free 7-day trial to ShowMax Premium will be available.<\/p>\n<p>ShowMax Premium will let subscribers stream from two devices simultaneously and allow up to five devices to be registered.
